RECIPE FOR COCONUT CRÈME CARAMEL

 For four people

Cooking time: 15 minutes (3 minutes at maximum heat plus 12 minutes at medium heat).

INGREDIENTS

4 eggs

½ litre of milk

100 grams of sugar

100 grams of grated coconut

50 grams of sugar to make the caramel

1 teaspoon of vanilla

The rind of a lemon

Some drops of lemon juice

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

PREPARATION

 

 

 

To make the caramel, put the sugar and some drops of lemon juice in a mould for Crème Caramel and insert it into the microwave oven during three minutes at maximum heat.

When the caramel is ready, move the mould to make all become impregnate. In a bowl, beat the eggs adding the sugar, the vanilla, the drops of lemon, the milk and finally the coconut.

Pour the mixture in the mould for creme caramel. Leave it to cook for twelve minutes at medium heat.
